Dealers in INDY who honor GMS? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Does anyone know of any dealers in Indianapolis who honor GMS for the camaro? My plan has always been to wait until the 2011 model year and I may still go that route. I was curious as to if any dealers in this area have said they would give GMS. I figure by the time the 2011 model year rolls around GMS can be had. I guess if I could find a GMS honoring dealer in Indy that I could go ahead and place an order. I know I would not get the car for quite sometime but I don;t have a problem with that since I had planned on waiting anyway. Thanks for any info.

Dugan Pontiac/Chevrolet in Avon. J.R. Dugan is an awesome guy.

He called today to let me know my car was built and he was checking on delivery day and would get back to me. I am getting it at GMS!!!

How much did they require for you to put down? Do they run a credit check when you order or when you pick up? Never ordered a car before so I am not sure how all that works. Thanks for the info!

I have bought over 10 cars from them. They know my credit.

I put $500 down.

I still have to fight for my guy Gene Champneys at Penske Chevy... he's a former Marine and a no BS kind of guy... I promise that your car will be treated like a newborn baby when it arrives and he will call you with weekly updates... Maybe if you tell him I sent you, he might hook you up...

I got a call from Dugan today. Saleperson's name was Tom. He said they were not doing GMS discounts on camaros. Dellen in greenfield said the same thing. I haven't heard back from Penske yet. It's not a huge deal I can wait until the next model year. I would think dealers would be honoring GMS pretty reguarly by then.

Dugan did say they would do MSRP and so did Dellen....so I guess that is good. I will sill wait....I can't pass up 3,000 plus in savings.

As a person who has sold cars for 12+years almost 1500 cars, My advice, "Do not hide behind an E-mail" , Pick up the phone and call a dealer ASAP!
