First run on the new SS - Lapeer 12.817@112.3
Finally got to run the new SS at the track. Went to Lapeer Dragway today. Beautiful weather to run. I was happy with the results on the "almost" bone stock car. (It has the muffler deletes and thats all) My best quartermile run was 12.817@112.37 and even managed a 113.28 trap speed on one. I had 12 passes and almost all were 12.9s so it ran consistent. I had trouble hooking with the worn stock rear tires. I could only manage a 2.174 60'.
Oh yeah, it was great to meet two detroit 5th gen guys/girls, Dan, Donna and Les also |

Nice times. Improve on the 60' and you'll be mid 12's.

Great times for the first time in the SS! A lot of SS owners don't break into the 12s their first time out.

Nice to meet you out there Darrick, hopefully we'll be seeing you out there all summer long. Nice passes, and Les you did damned good too, both of you guys dipping into the 12s first time out.....nice!!!!!
