Shift-S3ctor will be starting our 2013 season, Saturday, February 2nd at Buttonwillow Raceway. In addition to our normal HPDE track day, we are proud to announce that we will be hosting the Global Time Attack Pro-Am Series this year.

You can register to participate for the track day, or register to compete in the Time Attack series. One run group will be dedicated to the GTA Pro-Am and the other run groups will be just like a typical track day (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced). Whether you are a beginner or seasoned racer, Shift-S3ctor offers you a place to track your vehicle. The Global Time Attack Pro-Am series is a 4 event series, based out of Southern California and was created to give local drivers, shops and teams a place to compete under the GTA rule set. Registration is now open, and with limited spots available, sign up early and don’t miss your chance to participate.

For the 2013 season Global Time Attack & Shift-S3ctor will introduce the GTA Pro Am Points Chase. At each of the four GTA Pro Am by Shift-S3ctor events, individuals will collect points towards an overall season championship. Four champions will be crowned in the Enthusiast, Street, Limited and Unlimited classes. The champions will each win one free entry into the 2013 Global Time Attack Pro Championship RD 4 Super Lap Battle Finals at Buttonwillow Raceway, November 15, 2013

In addition to the individual points chase, we are also introducing a Team Championship. The GTA Pro Am Team Points Chase will be contested between teams (like a constructor’s championship). Any competitor may create a team with the top 2 finishers for any team accumulating points towards the Team Championship. Teams need to be officially formed, and submitted prior to the event.
