Hood Slit
I'm a new Camaro owner and still trying to learn different specs on each model Camaro. Is it standard for all V8 Camaros to have the hood slit or are there V8s out there that have the same non-slit hood like the V6s?

Never heard it called hood slit. Do you mean the vent on the 2014 hood, or the mailslot on the bumper of SS's

yeah, wouldn't really call the "hood slit" or "mail slot" a vent...as it's fake, and doesn't vent anything.
edit: also the fact that it's not on the hood...

2010-2013, stock SS trim or lower don't have anything in the hood but the SS's do have the mail slot in the front fascia. As seen here:
 2012 & 2013 ZL1s have vents in the hood and no mail slot in front fascia. As seen here:  2014 SS's have a hood slit in the middle of the hood, as seen here:
