Valve Cover Baffles

Okay I currently have two sets of valve covers and am trying to deiced which to keep and which to send back. Below is a pic of the baffles on each one. I am somewhat clueless as to what makes a good baffle, so can someone with experience please chime in on which baffle would be better or more preferable? Any input is appreciated!

If needed I can take more detailed pics.

It's actually a GMPP but now that I look at the Hollys I think they use the same baffle.

The baffle is there to help keep oil from getting sucked into the intake through the line. Both covers will work for you, however, #1 looks to be a taller cover for more valve train clearance. Do you plan on running an extremely high lift cam? I personally like the look of a taller valve cover.

If I kept #1 I'd put lock-tite on all those screws. Wouldn't want 1 to come lose. :-(

Good point! And RED lock-tite at that.

I already have an LG G6X3. They do have significantly more clearance.

Agreed, I wish I could seal the plate as well with some sort of glue like the GMPP one has.

BUMPING hoping for input on which baffle would work better.
