Brembo Front Brakes Question
I was just noticing that the front brakes on my new car has a couple round pieces of the I am guessing pad jutting out towards the wheel. Both fronts have this.
What is that, and is it normal? The backs don't have it. I am at my desk ATM, and can can take a pic later on if necessary.

Yup. Normal. They're the "rollerskates."
They prevent most squealing. Not all, but they definitely do help keep the noise down.

Normal. They are from what I've been told used for harmonics. I just had my rotors replaced with drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk pads. The "roller skates" were removed. Most installers will ditch them when the brakes pads are replaced.

Very cool. I had no idea what they were. Makes it a little harder to clean the inside of the wheels.
That makes sense. Thanks!
