Stock ZL1 exhaust fitment.

I was wondering just where the tips of your exhaust sits on your ZL1. Mine sits flush with the bumper, but I've seen several others that sit as much as 1.5" past the bumper. I'm wondering where the difference is coming from. How does this escape GM quality control? Is there that much "play" in the exhaust where it can be adjusted a couple inches either way?

I noticed my driver's side muffler/tip assembly is backed almost all the way out of the rubber hanger. I haven't been motivated enough to get under the car and work on it. My tips are flush with the bumper... maybe even a little bit recessed.

Mine are even in that regard but the driver side tips are about a half inch higher than the pass side.

Mine were even when I got my car but since I've put on LTH,off road pipes,"X" pipe.
There is play in the exhaust to move it back and forth,I put mine to stick 1in. passed the rear valence.
