Hood

I am wanting to get a new hood for my 2010. Originally I always wanted a MPD1 Z Force hood painted like the photo of the SLP ZL1 car. I also like the COPO and new OEM SS hoods. Just looking for input on what you guys like that best of the 3.

I have the COPO and I love it!

If you decide to go with it (COPO) Make sure you call Jim @ Ohio-Speed awesome guy to work with!

Thanks for the heads up IH8OPEC. Your car looks great and it really gives me a good visual of what it would look like on my car.

Just get the 2014 hood vent and install it in your existing hood... That would be your least expensive option. A lot of people already have done it.

I have thought about that option too.

MPD Z-Force and the COPO style look really awesome. The 2014 hood vent is probably a little less expensive route to go.

Eric at MPD talked to me all the time about getting a hood. I just didn't want a hood that had no affect either on feeding air to my intake or extracting heat. I ended up doing the 2014 grill insert and glad I did. It was cheaper and I see the heat coming out when stopped and I know it's taking care of relieving the air pressure along the front bumper at speed pushing air through, up and out.

Just not a big fan of the Hex Vents, they remind me of a Mustang too much I guess...

I had the Hex on my first Camaro and decided not to go the same direction that I once traveled in that area.

chozn4service, your car looks great! Does your hood still feel sturdy after cutting out all the bracing?
