I just unhooked my battery because it went dead over the winter and when I tried to charge it hooked up to my 2014 ZL1. The car was making strange noises. So I unhooked it and started charging it . But now I know when I hook it back up the computer is going to be messed up for a little while .
Can someone tell me what to expect to happen please .

Just reset the windows and you will be good to go..

Charge the battery, install it, reset the windows, reset the radio date/time and drive the car. No "computer code" required. KISS: Keep It Simple Stupid...

My battery ran down one time and the car made weird noises and the wipers wouldn't stop. Charged the battery and it fixed it self...
