Powermax v2 from jms
Does this on really increase stock fuel pump horsepower rating over 800 horsepower like it says.... does anybody have any history with this product?

Its just a BAP like ECS, Kennebell, MSD, etc all make.
800 crank maybe, with enough injector.

So if I buy a zl1 fuel pump and this I should be good for about 800 rear wheel horsepower right with the 60 pound injectors that come in the ecs kit??

I have this unit on my ZL1. It has an inline harness that connects to the accelerator pedal. You can pull the driver seat and run it under the carpet to the trunk where the battery is. IMO, it's the best place to mount it. I have mine set to activate at around 1.8 volts of pedal, for an output of 17.1v. That lets me maintain 65psi of fuel pressure at wot.

What size injectors are you running. You see I'm doing my build for 2k16. I want to be at least 800 rear wheel horsepower. I need a fuel system that can handle that kind of power. If you're at that Mark I'm going to do exactly what you just told me

I'm running ID850 injectors. If you install a ZL1 fuel pump and ZL1 fpcm, the JMS unit will be good for 800 RWHP. With good injectors of course.

60lb injectors wont do 800, and zl1 pump on a blower setup and BAP won't hit that either.

JMS website advertises it to 800 rwhp with single fuel pump. But I can't argue with someone else's experience with it since I'm not quite at 800 hp. But the fpcm is the fuel pressure control module. But I can say at 700 crank. My pressure was over 80psi at wot after I installed it. That was before turning the voltage down to get it to 65

What pound injectors should I ask east Coast supercharging to substitute the 60 pound injectors For???? Also with the linger filter fuel system handle this with no other modifications

If you're going to all that trouble just do dual pumps for insurance. I don't know about the lingenfelter system. Maybe someone else can chime in on that

You'll inevitably want more than 800 so, as stated, go ahead with a dual pump setup.
I have the JMS also. I'm using a Squash setup and am only boosting the second pump. I'm not using the 0-5V input but using a Hobbs switch. I can't say any results yet because the car isn't together. |
