Whipple install at GM?

hi
I did my Whipple install my self two years back. I have now exported the car over seas and Im about to get it through Swedish inspection, which is a major pain... I remember seing someone write in an add that GM had done the Whipple install? If so, there must be paperwork proving that GM is ok with the hp/torque?

I would hate to go back to stock...

Regards /Thomas

GM does not approve of it. In anyway shape or form.

What you have is a mod/performance friendly dealer willing to sell, install, and warranty it. But GM is not paying for the warranty work, the dealer himself is coming out of pocket for repairs and parts.

Many mod friendly dealers will do it for you but they are warrantying it. Not gm.

Put some ZL1 badges on it and tell them it's a ZL1 without the fancy engine cover.

Wish the idea with the ZL1 badges would work :-) Is the brakes the same on ZL1 as on SS?

This is Europe.. There is regulations and restrictions for everything..
I heard a guy was pulled over by the police at a car show because his bumper on his Peterbuilt truck was too shiny and that it was a risk... That's Europe.. Sweden is the worst when it comes to this..

I put my hope to the fact that the Whipple sticker states California approved and a reference to a GM accessory part number..

Sounds like you need to come back to the states.

Slap a COPO badge on it. I believe the supercharger used by GM on the COPO's is a Whipple.
