Weird Issue. Help me - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi All

Kindly listen to this noise in the link. It is very weird rattle noise from exhaust note or no idea. Headers on the car since 1.5 years. This noise came just before 2 days. Went to a muffler shop. He said nothing leaked.

It is normal with Idle revs. While driving when engine warms up it starts to rattle or no idea. And something shakes under the car on bumps only after engine has been warmed up. Help me with this issue. Thank you. The sound is rhurrrr rhirrruruur.

That sounds like an exhaust leak.

I drive a 4th Gen ls1 with long tube headers. The gaskets that came with the headers we far inferior to the oem multilayer unit. My header gasket basically blew out and I replaced it with oem one.

I am willing to bet one of the header gaskets is newly leaking. Try looking close at that.

Bayarea thanks for your help. Got this issue solve. The exhaust plate holding the exhaust system was touching with resonators. Issue solved.
