ctsv duel pump
I'm building my camaro and i noticed some vendors like Adm or Livernois used the ctsv dual pump because it's a drop in and has more flow than a zl1. now i have the zl1 pump. i'm just curious if switching what i have with the ctsv dual pump it will give me more room to growor stay safe.
also someone use it as a drop in,someone alse use it cangine the control module. I already have a adm control module. I'm looking for this pump because it's easy and fast and i don't have to remove everything. I made an access pannel to fit the zl1. Livernois says using as a drop in it's good for 800rwhp. since i'm with the stock block i don't think reaching that paowe i'ts safe. what do you guys think about it? should i use the dual pump as a drop in or change everything? thanks!

With large injectors and meth you can make 800whp but at that point it's the meth filling in where the pump falls off. |

Not at all worth it. The ctsv pumps only flow like 5-10% more than a ZL1.

And if I upgrade the pump with the dw300? I don't want to drop the tank. I already have the zl1 and it's fine. I was wondering if the cts-v can give me tell best plug and play solution. Adm said it's good for 1200hp 😱

Somehow there must have been a misunderstanding. They would never tell a customer that a stock ctsv pump will support 1200hp. The fuel lines olone become a limitation around 1000. Go with the DSX or AGP dual pump kit. Stay safe with plenty of fuel.

wait a second...i'm stupid but not so much...
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...0&postcount=21 they are talking about 1000+rwhp this is a post from a zl1 forum. 750 rwhp with the fuel pump. i think they use also more boost then me. i'm 11 psi. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=488053&page=3 i'm north of 600 not north of 800. i just want to have somthing to stay relaxed and not having the pump maxed out...

So confused. How much is all that going to add up to and for your car that doesn't need more fuel? Is that right? I guess if you can start with a used ctsv pump for really cheap it might all be worth it. Last time I looked all those parts add up to more that it's worth.

I don't want to add any power at e time,as I wrote I have the stock block. I simply don't want to keep the zl1 pump at 99% of duty cycle.
I'm planning to add ported head, like the gmpp, in the future and in this case I would need a little bit more of fuel so the dual pump can be good. I hope I'm clear. I read post where someone said it is good for thousands, which is not something I want than you wait has 10% more flow.i am confused...

DSX = Dave Steck. He got started tuning LSx stuff and it is a play on that.
If you haven't heard of him, he's one of the top tuners anywhere and is quite helpful on the HPT forums as well as the CTSV and Corvette forums. In fact, he has helped HPT by figuring out and supplying them with BIN files and CAN data exchange to broaden tuning capabilities of HPT. |

DSX offers an auxiliary fuel system to supplement the current one.
"AGP uses fore pumps/hat/rails and they source their own lines/electrical to offer the customer savings with same quality." - Unreal quote |
