Transmission removal question

When removing the transmission the talk is to let it sag down while hooked to the engine to access the top bolt. Does this put stress on the motor mounts or do you not let it sag completely?

Any other tips for a manual trans removal is greatly appreciated.

Floor jack support the cradle at the crossmember.

Remove the rear cradle bolts.

Loosen a bit but do not remove the front cradle bolts.

Lower the rear of the cradle slowly. You can usually leave the engine mounts alone, you're lowering the rear of the engine cradle.

Put some jack stands towards the rear of the cradle, just to make sure it doesn't drop too far if the floor jack is not so smooth.
