285 or 295
Trying to decide on a set of tires and size.
Current set up MRR M017 wheels in 1LE offsets Car is currently not lowered. 285/35/20 or 295/40/20 in the Nitto NT555 G2. Car is a daily with 2-3 track days with 1-2 Auto X events.

For my next set I am getting those EXACT tires, the 295's.
295 is the max size for 10" wide wheels on the front (I have OEM 1LE Wheels), and it seems that the only concern is whether or not that size is easy to replicate in the future. I know that the 285/35/20 is much more popular, if you ever want to switch to a different tire. I'll get the 295's though, as I'm sure that the NT555 G2's will be great.

I did 295/35/20 nitto invos on my 2014 1LE . Love them . Next time around I’ll be going with a 295/30/20 shorter side wall it’ll make the car stiffer ..

295/40/20 is going to be taller than OE, and I worry about it making contact with your struts.
I know 285/35/20 fits perfectly - I have those on the front of my car. On the rear I'm running 295/35/20.

Oh, right. To amend my response to OP, I'm getting 295/35/20.
