Buying ZL1. Questions
Recently sold my 2001 Z06 supercharged, 750-740 TQ....
Getting old and will buy a 2013-2015 zl1 couplewith an auto. Would appreciate your input into which year, issues , etc. |

you would be better off asking this question in the ZL1 part of this forum.
As for my answer I had a 14 ZL1 but it was a manual. I had no problems with the car and just sold it yesterday. The 13 is going to have the older tail light design but the 14 and 15 will be the same newer one. The 14 has the color HUD as well. I would go for a 14 since you can save a little money and get the same thing as a 15 being newer. Mine had only 19 ,000 miles or so. Keep in mind that some have the Recaro seats which is a sought after option. It is pricey to add them after the fact and hard to come by. If the car has that option most people will ask 2,500 to 3,000 for those seats by themselves. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=85 |

I prefer the 2012-13's tail lights, so that's what I focused my search on.
Mechanically 2012-15 are all the same. Common issues are the 2012- some early 14's supercharger isolator. (GM extended warranty to 10 years) Rear end noise that usually just needs a flush
