DRL Won’t Turn On (2011 RS)

Got in an accident a couple weeks ago and i just got my car back from the shop and I noticed that my DRL aren’t on and I can’t get them to turn on by switching the dial. They were working before and I don’t want to go through the hassle of taking it back to the shop so I was seeing if I could somehow just see if something isn’t connected or if it’s a blown fuse. I have a 2011 RS for reference.

Also I don’t know a TON about cars but I have pretty basic knowledge of them and my car.

I would start by removing the hex head screws from the wheel well and checking the harness. Passenger side, just above the DRL.

I am not sure if they have their own fuse or relay, so hopefully someone else can chime in on that.

As far as I know the only way to get the DRL to come on is by starting the car. They go off when the headlights come on, and that includes auto headlights or turning the knob.

Take it to a dealer. You may have some collision damage to electronics that will be covered by insurance once it's identified.

This is probably your problem because the harness is on the passengers side and the guys that repaired your Camaro probably didn't hook it back up.
