Is this a serious question?

Serious note. MGW all the way. I thought the OEM 1LE shifter was pretty good until I installed the MGW.

Took a 2013 SS on a test drive with the Hurst option. What a notchy pos. Ordered my 1LE, loved the shifter but the MGW is miles better.

Hurst is not even in the same universe as MGW. This shouldn’t even be a valid question to be honest. It’s MGW or nothing. Hurst? You’re paying for just a name of a classic product. Quality has gone down the toilet.

I like my Hurst a lot. It has sort of a rifle bolt feel when you shift which I like but some people do not.

Hurst advantages: Rifle bolt feel to shifts, easy to install, looks badass.

Hurst disadvantage: Rifle bolt feel to shifts.

MGW advantage: Smoother shifts

MGW disadvantages: Not easy to install, looks meh.

Jimmy. You forgot Hurst has a 38% throw and MGW only has a 33% throw.

Mgw is the way to go. Took me a little more than an hour to install. Install is actually not that bad.

the MGW has spring assisted 2-3rd shifts for faster shifts and spring assisted 5-4 for smoother downshift. Also MGW is an entire shifter assembly not just the shifter shaft.

I’d say only negative of MGW is road noise cause the shift assembly is not as huge as factory. Hurst, you’re basically changing out the shift. So if notchy? It’s cause factory is not hy

Very happy with my HURST stick. It felt a bit notchier than stock after I installed it... but it got smooth as butter after I installed a heavy knob (abrams). Also, the Hurst is prettier than the MGW in my book... I'm good with Hurst.
