2014 V6 RS, strong smell of gas when a/c is on?

Hey Guys, I have a 2014 V6 RS, recently there is a strong smell of gas when I turn on the A/C? It’s coming through the vents but only on A/C? If I switch to heat there is No smell? Any ideas? Thanks

DON"T DRIVE IT! I'd have it towed to a good shop. Gasoline can be deadly even in small amounts.

I'm not a mechanic, but that seems a bit excessive, don't you think? If gasoline were that dangerous, then everyone who operated a lawn mower would be in serious trouble, moronic smokers notwithstanding.

I'm with these guys, though: fuel leak. The only other thing I could think of would be mold in your system, but that would be a gradual build up of smell, not a sudden strong odor.

I'm thinking it might not be a fuel leak but mold/mildew in the condenser or ducts or something in the cabin air filter.
I would think you could find any fuel leak under the hood that is coming through the AC system.

Does it smell more or less as you switch between recirculate and and non?

One gal of gasoline can take a entire building down in a instant. Vaporized under the hood of the car it can and will destroy it if vaporized fuel ignites. It can move a car down the road at 60mph, its extremely powerful fuel.
