Rough idle with the AC on

My '12 SS LS3 has the usual bolt on stuff with a mild cam (226/236 113) & the car runs great. Nice slightly choppy idle until I turn on the ac then at idle the whole car shakes, turn off the ac & back to a nice idle. Could this be a tuning issue? Or possibly the ac compressor taking a dump? Not really sure where to start in solving this issue. Ideas would be appreciated.

Could be the compressor is dying or the ECM has lost communication with the AC. On my Silverado the wire to the high pressure switch broke and whenever I turned on the AC it wanted to stall all the time.

Thanks for the input! I would think that if the ecm has lost communication that the idle speed would drop also. It stays at 750. never tries to stall, just a lot rougher idle. Also the only time I use ac is when temps are approaching 100*, i usually drive with the windows down. So it really isn't used that much. That being said, it is a 12-year-old compressor though. Again thanks for the input.
