Great American Chevrolet in Hackensack, NJ is the dealership I bought my car from. I ordered a 1ss/rs/manual.

My down payment was placed on 12/22/09, my car was at 1100 for 13 weeks. I went last week to the dealership to inquire and was told that the order would go through the very next cycle. The new owner of the dealer was very up front with me and explained that when my order was placed it was not assigned as a customer order and that's the reason why it hadn't been allocated.

So three days later my order has been allocated and the car will be here in 2-4 weeks. Not only was the new owner very helpful and up front but he called me yesterday and made a deal with me.

He told me that he had a white 2ss/rs in the lot that he wanted me to drive while I waited for my car to be delivered!! I couldn't believe what I was hearing!!!

So if you are in the northern part of NJ and you are looking for a good deal and STAND UP sales people then go check these guys out. Best purchase experience I've ever had!!

There are some good dealers out there. What a cool story.

It certainly bodes well for a dealer to keep people happy. Think how much business that you may send their way just for doing this.

this is very true. i was speaking to the guys at work about it and they are all in awe also. I've spread the word about how well these guys have taken care of me and i'm sure if someone at my job decides to get a Camaro they are going to remember my story.

Their are some good dealers out there you just need to shop around.
