who likes old style SS emblems - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I keep looking at pics and the old style SS emblems from slp on the front and rear look aggresive and give it that muscle car look that I like. I guess it reminds of muscle cars from the past. I seen some pics of the newer SS emblems but none seem to go as well as the old style to me. Just wondering if anyone else feels that way.

I prefer the new style over the old. To me the old style fits better with the older cars but not on the 2010. The only thing the old styles match with on the 2010 is just the design. If done right the new style badging looks a lot more agressive and plays with the new youthfulness of the 2010 camaro. That's just my opinion.

i like the old style.a lot of guys have them on their new cars.but personally i would put the new style on my car.i think they look more aggresive than the old style.if i had an older car,i would not put the new style SS on it.i think it all boils down to what you like.

And yes I've been watching the new ones very closely and seen the pics...

I've just been playing the "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything" game...

I like both, but I don't think they mix well. If i went with the retro look, I'd also switch the Camaro script on the fenders for the first gen as well.

I like both too. Having had two 68 SS Camaro's, I'm liking the old school ones on the grill and tail. I'm thinking of putting the two new ones I removed inside somewhere.

Yeah, I lik'em. I wish someone would sell a front emblem (like SLP makes) for $25-35.
