Shark Fin
So...is the shark fin on top for the XM or for OnStar?
I'm not renewing either one. Has anyone removed it? |

Both I think, and if you remove it you have holes in the roof..

never seen anyone take it off completely.......but are you going to COMPLETELY stop using onstar? even the emergency services?

OnStar is too expensive to keep. It's rediculous.
I think I remember that the shark fin was ONLY for OnStar. |

the shark fin is what gives the Camaro power and stamina. Just ask the Chinese.

The GPS and Onstar are in there for sure, not sure on xm, it might be in there. Onstar is expensive but if you get a discount on car insurance for having it that might offset some of that. I probably wont get any advanced features, just the minimum for the emergency services.

when i removed mine to paint, i noticed that it had 2 cables, and yes you will need to somehow fill the hole.
