Can not close trunk or learn windows - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

After restoring the blend door I have connected battery again. Now I get a message on display says "open then close driver window". I do so but message still on. I have repeted the process but after seven times the window remain in open and unable to proceed for a while. I have also hold the button for 5-10 seconds in both open and closed position. Even tried to clear with a obd scanner.

Also noticed that trunk lid is open and can not be closed. Then pushing trunk opening on drivers door nothing sounds/happens same with fob. .

It's a Camaro 2012 SS convertible and top is down (can't close top due to trunk open).

Any ideas how to solve this two issues?

I am having the same problem with the DIC roll windows up and down it doesn't go away after I restart the car it shows up again

try disconnecting the battery leads . I have taken mine off an touch them together so I know it drains any out of the car then reconnect .

Roll window down hold for 10 sec up again 10 sec then alternate for passenger side repeat 3 times then it disappears for good , start the engine and roll windows up and down once more that worked for me

UPDATE and SOLUTION:

After one night with battery charger I tried to lock trunk and it worked at first time!

But the button on driver door for trunk opening didn't work and windows relearn didn't work. BUT after closed and secured the top (that was possible to do once the trunk was locked) I tried again to relearn windows and it worked at once!

After relearned windows the trunk button on drivers door worked as well!

So the solution to relearn windows on convertibles seems to be that you have to have top up and secured. I guess the problem with locking trunk had with low battery, even if i think it was not that drained. Also seems like you have to relearn windows before trunk button work.
