Turn signal cancellation is off the reservation

All of a sudden the turn signals have started to not cancel in either direction unless you really turn lock on a corner, they feel mechanical but maybe they're electronic, anyone experience this?

Is your steering wheel lowered when this happens ?
I had a issue with mine having a tight harness, made the whole thing wacky if my steering was lowered where I like it. Only had a week at time, so it went to shop and they just put some slack in and no longer happens.
