Lsa supercharger porting?

Anyone have any experience good or bad with porting their supercharger?
I’m looking into doing it over these long 6 months of winter here in the north east. 2 places I’m looking into are, weapon-x or Katech
Anyone ever send your supercharger to to these guys for porting?

Nice should be a fun car afterwards. Both weapon-x and katech are only 3 hours from me.

Kong and Jokerz seem to be the typical go-to's, but it seems like Ben knows what he's doing with LSA's at Weapon-X... I think he built his business around LSA-powered CTS-V's.

I'm sure Katech knows what's up, too. Probably can't go wrong with either choice, though I bet Ben is cheaper.

I was thinking of sending mine to Kong Performance
They seem very squared away

Jokers seems to be the most expensive out of all 4 companies. Weapon-x will even weld the intercooler brick if you send it in with the supercharger for free. If I’m reading there website right.

I have a Kong ported one, I dropped off and picked up(about 1.5 hr drive). The owner is great to deal with and it was a top notch, quick turn job.

I might have to rethink about getting my supercharger ported. with the new kong 2650 out in December. most likely will be a lot of used ported lsa supercharger on the market or just wait and buy the new kong. Fran put the video out with it on a ctsv and it was better all around. lower ait's, spins slower with more boost, and all the stock lsa lids and brick works.

Yup, looks pretty nice!
With a 3inch upper on the Kong 2650 and 9.1 lower the boost was 21.5lbs vs 14.4lbs on LSA w 2.5+9.1. IAT's were close start to finish w/the 2650 6deg cooler at the end.
21.5lbs is insane, really thinking about picking one up now

OP it will be a cost conversation. Porting ~1200 vs 6k new 2650 or used ported 1900 ~2.5k-3k.

Also the cost of supporting mods etc.

Will have to look at whole package for that decision

that's true d454. I don't think my 850cc injectors would be enough for that 2650, plus a booster pump and other mods to go with such a big blower.
