I would say a lsx 427, that way if you ever do want to add boost the cylinder wall/sleeves are thicker and will stand up to higher boost

I went with a dart SHP iron with a 4"stroke and 4.125" bore for boost (427)
The lsx gm block is spectacular also. I would not chose the 4.125" stroke and 4.185" bore for boost. What are your plans for the car?

BTW the stock ls7 block can be only over honed .005, so unless its installed in the car most do not go the extra$$$$$$ to buy one aftermarket and lsx BTW usually means iron block and the lsx 454 is awesome and someday I may get one but for now I am poor so I went stock stroked ls3 block basically a throw away block stroked and someday ls7 small bore heads. You would want to look at things like long term sleeves being able to be replaced? over bore or hone, weight, four or six bolt...reinforcement, etc...

4.185" is at the maximum bore for the dart block.
The 4.125" stroke is going to have some serious piston speed. That motor is awesome but just the wrong choice for boost. I'll ask again, 205, what are your plans/goals for the car? If you are building for boost, the iron dart iron shp block is a great choice at a good price. You can do a stock stroke with a 4.125" bore for a mean 388, a 4" stroke with the 4.125" bore for a 427 or almost anything in between. The iron GM lsx block is awesome, but I'm not even sure if you are talking about that... This is a strong deal and I think they are running a additional sale this month... http://www.thompsonmotorsports.net/p...roducts_id=538
