Where is the loyalty?
I've seen more v6 5th gens around town with happy drivers in them than I care to see right now.
For the ones that pre-ordered, I'm happy for you and that's a different subject but for the ones that bought the options and paid alittle more for the v8 and so on, WHERE ARE THOSE CARS? Come on GM decision making, get the true muscle car out for the people to see before its winter and we put them away just as we recieve them. I don't think it would be much advertising if the car is hidden away for winter rather than driving around in the summer? But anyway, GM knows what they are doing. |

In Canada there is a constraint on V8s...at least that is what my dealer is telling me but my dealer told me today he is getting two V8s any day now. One is a sold car and the other is a dealer car fully loaded Black/Black. Mine is a V8 model too and apparently I need to wait a few more weeks to have mine built since they are focusing more on the V6 models for Canada. Who to believe?

I know it's tough right now, but we have to be patient. They're trying to spread out the cars so everyone will be able to see them. It's not easy to wait, but we've been getting good at it for the last three years.

just because you buy the v6, doesnt make it less of a car. And there are SSs on the roads. Actually, from what i have seen, there are more SSs then v6s, youll see one soon. Who knows maybe yours will be the first making it even more special, but please dont hate on the v6. My 2LT/RS costs nearly as much as a 1SS but i dont need 426 hp and i like leather. Pluys i ordered day 1 too. But i agree, i would love to see some on the streets but havent seen any yet

I didn't mean to sound like I was bashing the v6, it was more a frustration of waiting for my car that when you see soo many of one model, it's almost like the saying goes... you seen one, you seen them all. I personally don't want to be in that category in the ordinary public eyes when people judge on a brand or model because of an over abundance of one model over another.
I guess I was implying that if GM wants to make a 50-50 ratio of v6 to v8 models, then they should distribute them that way. That would be the best solution. Didn't mean to degrade or knock any other models, or insult in anyway. Not my intention. Sorry for offending anyone. The car is beautiful whatever the trim! |

I am not aware of any V8 constraint in Canada. But there are no V6 manual being built.
