Yeah some times depending on how much you drain a battery some times it never comes back. Glad to hear they just replaced it and now you have fresh one!

I've had this happen before also. Now I disconnect the battery take it out of my car and bring it into the warmth don't set it on the floor directly.

I trickle charge it for 45 minutes to a hour install back into the car before starting in the spring.

You can also just disconnect the battery leave it in the car and charge it after storage.

I'm in Ontario I've stored a car every winter since 2002 so I know this method is sound but could of just been a defective battery.

Yeah that would of wiped a grin off.

Cars with lots of electronics sometimes go whacky to when the battery's going out I've had every light on the dash on a 02 olds alero all from a bad battery I thought I was in for a big repair bill luckily just a battery.

Batteries that are stored sub 32 degrees F at only at half charge are a recepie for disaster. Fully charged is what you need in that situation.
