I Pod Connection Problem - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Ok so I listen to my music through my I Pod, but it doesn't always connect to the radio. I usually have to unplug and plug it back in like 10 times before it comes back on. Also half the time I get in my car and the song I was listening to before I got out won't come back on, it restarts at the top of the song list. Anyone else deal with this?

i had the same problem but i think it was my ipod cord soo i changed it and it works fine now but that may not be your problem

I replaced the Ipod and cord and it still happens

Mine will do the same thing. The reason it starts at the beginning of your iPod is the ipod battery dies and it defaults back to the first song by alphabetic order once it gets enough juice to power back up......Might not be the reason, but the ipod does not turn off when you shut down the car, it stays in sleep mode. Add in cold weather and the battery dies quickly. More of a problem for me in the winter. I have no clue why it sometimes does not find the ipod even when it is connected. I can only assume the Camero is a PC fan.....
