Cool science from the ISS

Checked to make sure not a repost ... sorry if it is!

This is a cool experiment showing what happens when you wring out a washcloth in space.

Physics is phun!!

A much cooler experiment is what happens when you such the air out of a glass beaker that has water on the bottom.

That was friggin awesome!!!! And just think of how convenient would it be to work on a car in space! You could just let go of your tool to reach for something and it would stay there.

Sort of. If you were capable of bringing the tool to a complete rest and refrain from imparting a single minute amount of force on the tool, then yes, it would remain where you left it.

Did you see how difficult it was for the astronaut to keep the microphone in one place?

One very small bump and the tool would go flying across the room...

But the lack of gravity would make it a breeze to replace your engine block
