I have been coming to this site since I ordered my 2SS and I find a lot of info on here very helpful and when I ask questions I get some good answers. I now have another?? I have been hearing all about these allotments that dealers get so I thought If you ordered a car you would get it. But this allotment stuff if the dealer can get so many and I'm confused...

anyway I spoke to my dealer to ask him what their allotment was and he told me that GM never gave them a allotment as of yet. He said only two camaros have been ordered and I was not to worry that i would get my car between March 13th and May time frame. Can anyone tell me if this sounds right??

He should know what his allotment is. Every Chevy dealer has an allotment. It could be 1 or it could be 60. It's on the GM Global Connect site.

The dates he gave you are about right but it could potentially take longer.

Actually it was on the internal GM launch site, but it was removed. Now, all dealers are told to consult their regional manager. They should call - they'll get an answer.
