Lead on missing Yoshi...

Having been secretly commissioned to work independent from the official "Where is Yoshi Coalition", to fly under the radar as it were, I believe I have found a lead on our man...er...dinosaur. Looks like they really mean business. I have been conducting my own investigations based on anonymous leads and places of interest historically consistent with the creature at large.

And the giveaway? Free shipping. Don't let the "new tag" fool you, I know we've got him now. To avoid leaving a crunchy cookie for those working against us to pick up, the egg has been appropriately scrambled this morning.

Steady now, this isn't the time for that kind of stuff. Are we to assume this is a positive identification of the victim? We need to know of any distinguishing marks that might help our cohorts ascertain this beyond a reasonable doubt.

After reviewing the evidence. Here are my conclusions....

Yoshi was being mistreated by his past "owner" and chooses to remain MIA until further notice. What tragic memories must he be trying to get over......

Only time will tell.

To be honest, after examining the "picture" more closely, I noticed that the tag on that "victim" is different than the tag I remember. I remember the tag being a booklet-type tag...this may not be my buddy...

Luca has been feeding me information as well, but nothing conclusive yet...

We conducted a meeting of the utmost discretion with the seller and were able to see this Yoshi first-hand. It is in excellent, brand new condition, and couldn't possibly have been abducted from an owner yet. Upon this conclusion, we continue the search for the real missing Yoshi, and have again plunged our tentacles into the vast channels of information coursing daily through our systems.

Certain information indicates he might be the unfortunate middleman in a transaction gone wrong between the abductor and a Nigerian scammer. Apparently this plush doll was falsely advertised on the black market as an extremely rare and endangered type of animal. When the transaction was nigh upon falling through, there was talk of latent piracy, "bargaining chips", and cheap booze.

According to contacts who handle the transportation of foreign-bound parcels, things have been traveling fairly slow for the past couple of months. Using the date upon which he went missing, we were able to calculate two possibilities: 1) He may still be bogged down within the shipping lanes of Panama, on the loose and stone-cold drunk; 2) By now, his crate would be in the vicinity of Lisbon awaiting an unladen fleet of corsairs to carry him on to the Ivory Coast.

You could help up considerably by answering this question for us: is he or is he not endowed with a remarkable tolerance for alcohol?

Considering that I am of Mexican descent, everybody knows that we don't get drunk...we get all...well, you know...

I'll have to say, yes and he has a very healthy appetite...
