Cool car. But you know you could build it for way less without having carrols name on it.

True about any car. The world-beater will be the one with the paddle shifting. I wouldn't be surprised if the interior was much nicer in this car and it was slotted to replace the Ford GT. This car will be an absolute monster in any form of racing and if they do the interior and exterior right, it could be an extreme competitor.

To each their own

Alot of people would go "$100K for a Corvette...dammmmmmmmn"

Saying this Shelby GT500 is "just a Mustang" is like saying the ZR1 is "just a C6".

^^This, an explanation was probably needed, thanks Tom. You won't be seeing these prowling around in packs, same as with the ZR1....

I didn't bother clicking because I would NEVER pay 100K for a GT500 (even if I could afford it). And I really love those cars.

Should be pretty cool, and I'm sure the same or better could be done yourself for less, but theres a certain appeal to picking up a car 'ready to go' at 1000hp with all the other stuff like the cage and carbon fiber listed.

Personally never been much of a Mustang fan, but I think Ford did nail the design this time around.

Sounds good but 1000HP is not too useful on the street. Good for the dyno and bragging to your friends though. Also good if you are angry at your tires.

I doubt you will see too many of these being used as DD's

Considering it comes with a built in 10 point and no rear seats..and racing fronts? No..

This is basically a GT500 track version gone crazy..but just sane enough to be allowed on the street
