I'm almost 100% certain that the injen long tube CAI is 50 state legal with all their intakes. The camaro v6 injen intake might not be officially 50 state legal, it's because they are still in the process of getting it legal. Which i don't see why it wouldn't be since all their others are.

Seriously? Why would an intake be illegal in CA? I might be moving there in a year and am running the Vararam .

I believe it is due to the fact none have the cover, or a cover, with a hydrocarbon trap in it among other things. But if they pass smog and get their EO# so they pass physically then your good.

Yeah there is , but they work under the disguise that they are looking for ilegal imports of fruits , that may bring bugs into the agriculture /farming and other $hit like that !

So I'll still be running Virginia plates for a while when I'm there . . . but there is no vehicle inspection in California other than emissions right?

When they do emissions they just put a hose up to the tailpipe? How often do you have to get it done?

I could always swap back to stock just for that if I have to . . .

OldFriend - where are you at? I'll be moving to the Bay Area . . .

You won't get checked. That agriculture check never stops anyone. When you have to get a smog in 5 years or so, you'd have to do the 30 min swap of your intake. It's worth it...
