MRT 2.0 tips question

Does anyone know if the tips on the MRT 2.0 are welded on? Im looking to buy the exhaust and eventually go to a dual tip setup on both with the purchase of a modded difusser where Ofer sells. So anyone know if its possible to replace the MRT tips w/ dual ones w/o cutting them off or are they welded on?

I can just cut them off though right and weld on the new dual tips? Would this affect the sound of the exhaust or are tips just for asthetics? Also, if I wanted to keep the MRT tips for future use, is it possible to cut into the weld enough w/o damaging anything and being able to reuse them in the future if needed?

Can anyone answer my other question? Could I cut the welds enough to be able to slide off the tips and be able to reuse them in the future if needed?
