650 HP CTSV Anyone?

This car is an absolute blast to drive. We have not had a chance to run it down the track yet but it should go 11.7's on street tires and 11.3's on drag radials. What a joy to drive and a perfect daily driver.

Love the Cadillac CTS-V and waiting for a cool Z/28.
Just a question on the expected times you quoted for your car.
A 650 flywheel horsepower 4200 lb car that hooks will go high 10's easily if it hooks with 120-125 traps.
Are you expecting that the car won't hook well or is there not enough low end torque and optimized drivetrain to get a good 60' time to get in the tens (high 1.4's to low 1.5's) I think low end torque is critical for a run in the tens with a heavy car. Please explain why 650 hp gives only mid 11's ,,,Thanks.

I think John is planting a seed here.....you know when this car (that doesn't exist) comes out what he will be able to do to 'help' those owners out

If rumors and consensus on this forum prove to be true, then that really is a Z28 with a CTS-V shell on it lol.

I'm just waiting for someone to adapt the AWD system off the CTS Coupe to a CTS-V coupe or a crafty Z/28 builder and slap a with a big Whipple supercharger on it making 750whp. Talk about a GTR-killer..

I would sell my GT500 if GM made a super charged awd Camaro or CTS-V. Just think about it as a cheaper version of the Bentley Continental Supersports, or a fat Audi or really fat EVO. If my pockets were deep enough I'd just pay Henessy to build it one off just for me, a built LS9 with a big twin screw under the hood sounds nice along with a fully built auto and the AWD system off the CTS Coupe sound's like high 9's all day on street tires.

anyone else with me?......remember the Typhoon and Syclone
