this probably has been posted many times before, but what is the largest width you can fit on the stock 20" wheels? i was hoping to put something like a 265/35/20 on front and a 285 or 295/35/20 rear? anyone know what i can fit on it?

i figured this may be an easier solution than buying new wheels and tires for the track. im thinking about bridgestone potenz re070 in a 285/35 rear and 255/40 front..............if it will fit.

next question i have..... if give the choice what would anyone choose? example: the smaller, yet more track worthy Bridgestone Potenza RE070R R2 RFT 285/35/20 rear and 255/40/20 front Extreme performance tire or ........ the wider Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position 305/35/20 rear and possible 275/35 or 30/20 front Max performance tire?

its almost like, you can get an great 20" tire for the track but you cant get it in a larger width than a 285. any bigger and you sacrifice tread pattern and handling

so how the hell are people fitting 315 and 305's on the rear of the stock wheel? maybe ill just upgrade to a 255 front and a 285 rear track tire like the bridgestone potenza
