Strange Noise From Fan?
I have a CGM 2010 1SS L99, and whenever I switch on my Fan Control I can hear a high pitch "chirping" that seems to emanate from the middle-right side just behind the dash. (The noise is present with or without the AC on) When I switch it off, the sound goes away, but it slowly dissipates instead of stopping suddenly. (Belt or belt tensioner maybe?)
I only have 5800 miles on it so it should be fixed under warranty. It's just hard to find time to take the car to the dealer for a proper diagnosis. I just want to see if this is a warning sign to something larger lurking in the distance. Any insight would be appreciated. Julian |
