I've been a member here for a good year now, and even though I know I have to wait another year and a half to get one...I just can't stop wanting a Camaro. I always keep my eye out for one, and have always stopped at the Chevy dealers just to take a test drive and get close up. I know it will be worth the wait....just hard to wait.

Hearing some of the funny stories on here and learning soo much on here has really made the choice easy too. So I also like to say thanks to everyone for helping me find the light

I feel your pain, I've been wanting one since I first heard about the concept. It's getting to the point that its all I think about. I look at them at dealerships, I spend hours on this forum, I look for them online for sale, I talk to my wife about buying one, it never ends. I know that waiting till I can really afford it is the way to go but it doesnt make it any easier.

And this place has really made picking what options, color, trim level, and mods I will get about 1000X easier.

haha for sure. I've already picked out packages, color, the whole thing. Plus I know about 1000 times more than the dealers at this point...which isn't that hard to do anyways

I've only gotten to drive one for like 10 minutes after my wedding and since it was a friends, I didnt want to push it too hard. But what i learned from that brief test was, this car is for me. All the issues that people have complained about (Visibility, interior quality etc.) pale in comparison to everything the car offers. I had a smile on my face the entire time. I forgot about the fact that I just got married and was on my way to the reception, the only thing that I could think was I wish I had more time with it. I wanted to just drive it all day and never give it back. When I finally do get one, i probably will have to take the weekend off to just enjoy it.

As others have said it's definetely worth the wait. We've all been there and it's just oh so good when you get it.

Funny you should say that I used almost 2 weeks of holidays when I took delivery of mine back in June just to drive it.

Well on the bright side they will keep getting better. So if it takes you another year or two the car you get will be even better than the one you could have gotten now. Hang in there!

I had the choice of waiting a year or getting a used one with 3K on it. I'm not really good at waiting so I went and got it. Best car I have ever owned!
