Unlock Feedback Lights

Usually, when I use the remote to unlock, the tail lights and amber turn signal lights will flash. At other times, in addition to the tail lights and turn signal lights flashing, the side markers, back up lights and HID's will also come on. Anyone else notice this or is it just me that may have an electrical problem? The manuel states that the exterior lamps will flash when unlocking, but it does not say which lamps. TIA

I have the SS w/o RS package. I have noticed that when I remote lock the car, sometimes the headlights flash and sometimes not.

A while back I replaced my halogen headlight bulbs with brighter Xenon bulbs, and
would watch them when locking the car. Seems when I lock the car the first time the headlights flash, but subsequent presses only flashes the amber bulbs. Even after unlocking and relocking, no headlights...

When you lock the car the turn signals, rear lights flash. When you unlock everything comes on. That's what I've noticed anyways.

Also this isn't what you asked about, but the horn won't blow if your door isn't closed all the way. Took me forever to figure why my horn didn't always hunk on the second push of the button.

YES! (I thought that is what this thread was going to be about) I have that same "problem". There are times when I lock the car and no lights flash, and the subsequent <Lock> press will not beep the horn. The car is lock, I've checked. Sunny, cloudy - doesn't seem to matter.

It's most annoying when I go to remote start. I watch for the lights to tell me I'm in range - but when they don't flash...derrr....
