Bowties Done

Well I finally got my bowties done, got my dad to help me with the front bowtie though, man that thing was a PITA. I think they turned out great

Good job, I didn't do that well my first time.

Next time try some 3M Di-Noc carbon fiber vinyl. Stuff is easier to shape, tougher, and actually has the CF feel to it. Looks almost real. I started with the cheap stuff and then moved up to the Di-Noc, was a world of difference.

How did you get that to shape around the front? I cut sections out of mine because i couldn't get it to stretch around the bulge in the middle...

Just patience. Start by applying it down the crease in the middle without sticking either side on. Then work your way from the top down, just slowly stretching it on. Works a lot better if it's hot out or if you use a blow dryer.
