HEY Phoenix your tire shop told you to put 18s on your SS? Man, I have been trying to sell my 18" rims and tires that I kept from my '97 before I traded it. The sizes sound about right without being able to look at them right away. Man that would save me from spending alot of $$$$

Nevermind on that one I looked at the sizes today. there is a 3 inch difference in the diameters. Don't think thats gonna work.

Another option is pick up a spare set of 20's and while on tirerack shop by size.

245/45 R20
275/40 R20 are the OEM sizes.

I can vouch for the 20" Pirelli Scorpion Ice and snow tires in 6 inches of unplowed wet Michigan snow.
For whatever reason tirerack doesn't show these as an option when you shop by car. I let Rudy know. They did last year.

Also going that route.. Looks like perhaps the Pirelli scorpion assemetrico all seasons might be available as well.
