tough choice...
I've wanted a camaro for the last 6 months or so. But before that I wanted a G8 GT. In fact I had one on order, till I decided I really wanted the Camaro. My situation is somewhat unique because of my dad's position at GM. I'm able to get my vehicles well below the employee price because of the PEP program (long story). So anyways, I have an option of getting an '09 G8 GT, liquid red with the red/black interior, and the performance package for about 24k (configured exactly how I initially ordered it). I could get it as early as march. My alternative is to wait for the Camaro, which after all is said and done, I probably won't get until August or September. The 2SS will cost me about 29k. So for 5k less, I can get the G8 GT, and about 4 months earlier. What are your thoughts on this? I really don't mind 2 door vs 4 door, and I like the looks of both. Granted the Camaro beats it in performance, but that 5k could go into a blower for the G8...

They won't. Pontiac will have a lot of nameplates cut, but the G8 will most likely still be a survivor, especially if they're trying to move Pontiac to a performance niche brand.
