Trunk Access for KW Coilovers? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have not been able to find any information on the V3 KW Coilovers as to if drilling access holes in the trunk is required for adjusting the coilover settings. Any information or pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can get a lot more for that kind money. Take a look at the Pfadt coil overs. They allow for all adjustments to be easily accessed from under the car. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions.

Forum rules prohibit vendors from selling or even posting in another vendors thread. Your question is generic so please allow me to reply with a picture and explanation. The pocket in the upper right corner of the photo shows the pocket or well that the top of the rear strut sits in. There is no access to this through the trunk for any brand without some kind of modification to the vehicle.

You will have to drill.

No you dont need to drill the adjustment is external on the bottom. We have installed these already. Call any tuner such as Hennessey and ask them as well.

Are you referring to the KW V3s in the OPs post or the Pfadts Apex posted? To adjust the shock settings with the V3 in the car, you have to cut a hole in the trunk.

Not if your have lots of KW experience and track set up experience to know the rates etc. We Installed several sets and not one customer complained of the adjustments we made. Cutting a hole in the trunk is ridiculous unless its a dedicated track car and your swapping out different springs rates for a road course.

depending on the OP purpose send us a PM and we can walk you through it. We are doing another install in a few days of the V3's
