$61k for an aftermarket conversion when factory convertibles are going to be in the $40k range. I think it's neat and you have to give someone credit for doing it but with Factory verts coming soon. I know I wouldn't pay $60k for an aftermarket.

Lets go all out, yea right,.... !

The 2009's + 2010's are going to always get chopped, he he.. theirs no verts !, till 2011's come out, then every one will quit, it will be too much to custom & compete w/GM, that's why Those Camaro's are so high, but look at the Challenger verts, those are flipping a 75K plus bills, from chop shops !, because Mopar won't add in a vert for 2010's & just released a statement; they don't want to do one for 2011's also, if a guy looks around the 2011 models won't even get released till 2011, so chop shops will have coupes to cut up and charge a guy any price they want !, Those Hennessy Camaro verts that are coming out at $130K, is just the top of the ice burg for these guys to hit the market w/$90K-$150K Challenger verts !, he he he... Ha !
" If I had the means to get a good body man a shop & superchargers, you bet, I'd do it, charge $140K for a 2010 Challenger vert, It would sale quick ! " profit in 60K easy, tell me who don't like that kinda return ?, the reason I say this, the die hard fan will kill for one !, Hennessy & others know this, that's why were seeing these cars at high cost !, once the manufactures see it, they'll jump in to get a part of the pot, it will go away once we see them mass produced even if its 20,000 cars, the smaller the production of the vert the higher the price tag !, the larger production the less valued the car becomes !, IMO !,
Lets say Hennessy produces 25 Challengers at $150K -$40K for the car,-$20K for the vert & supercharger & - $20K for paint and interior, that's maybe $80K, ya just made $40K-60K large !, times that number by 25 cars for the year, one million bucks to $1.5M Large ! "who wouldn't want a peace of that pie ? " OMG !
