Crime is no longer an option for me

In case I ever considered going outlaw, it seems that it's now even less of an option for me. Slipping away from the scene of a crime, leaving only witnesses who might describe the car as, perhaps, a "light- colored Mustangy- looking car" (Come on... just last week at work, a co- worker referred to my "Mustang..." ugghhh) is now less likely. My license plate now describes the car, in case anybody has recognition failure... and, it's pretty easy to remember, so the cops would be all over me, in a hurry. Well, unless they drive Mustangs. You know.

I guess I'll have to stay squeaky- clean... and polite.

On FB, a friend recently posted pics of a 5th gen Camaro conversion to the Smokey & the Bandit TA... responses to the post/ pics show that most people REALLY think it's cool, and are really glad that Pontiac has finally returned to business with a TA. Sigh.

The real crime is someone calling your Camaro a Mustang

First couple of times that I had,'a nice Mustang', comment my face did this thank you.

Over time, I learned to accept it! Now my response is ,'thank you, it's a limited edition.'

On the crime thing, I found this hiding place...

Congrats on the new plates! I wanna get some but just haven't gotten around to it. I feel your pain on the Illegal activities thing. Its hard to tell a cop "It wasn't me officer, it was that other bright green camaro!"

Nice wheels!

Nice lady at the gas station commented on my beautiful "Camery". I cut her some slack because she immediately corrected herself...

Nice -- Looks like the yellow in the letters exactly match the shade of yellow in your paint. If NC required a front plate I'd have an automatic electric hidden device that retracted the plate while parked.

Had a coworker point out "that new dodge charger" to me. Wouldn't believe me when I said it was a Camaro, until I pointed out the bow tie. And this coming from a guy that spotted a Ford GT40 from seeing half the door.

I too suffer from the unique car problem. Inferno Orange, black stripe, and black hockey stripes. One of 2 in Inferno Orange, in the city, and the other is rarely seen. My only chance is if someone call it in as a mustang. I guess I have to hire a getaway driver with his own car.

I like the plates. It works out pretty good.

It will be the best investment ever! Either you will both get away or you will get away by bailing out if he gets caught .
