Yellow SS/RS ???? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have yet to see a Yellow 2010 SS/RS or an SS for that matter that has the mail slot , I did a search and to no avail , so anyone have any good pics that they may want to share here ???

all SS's have the mail slot, if it doesnt, then its not an SS

I would even take a 1SS set of pics non RS to see what the roof looks like with the black

what do u mean "what the roof looks like with the black" the roof is going to be black while the rest of the car is yellow?

no i think he meant the weather stripping or whatever those are that get painted with the RS, i think thats what he meant but could be wrong

Is there any picture that shows the weather stripping or w.e it is...because i ordered a 2lt/rs yellow but i wasent aware of any black things painted on the roof

Nothing is painted black. It's just the roof ditch moldings above the doors. On the RS, thery're painted body color. If you ordered RS you will not notice anything at all

look at the roof, the 2 black strips going from front window to back window, right above each door, those get painted the body color with the RS

In summary of what others have posted, the RS package offers color-matched roof ditch moldings. In other words, the black strip that is on the roof will be the color of your car when you get the RS package. Also, all V8 Camaros (SS) will have the forward mail slot. Non-RS Camaros (V6 and V8) will have black roof ditch moldings.

Reverse mohawk is on all cars except the ones with a sunroof. The RS package doesn't add or take away from the mohawk.
