Anyone have the blue or amber AAC Fog Lights?

I am replacing my DRL's (i have the RS package) with AAC's LED fog lamps. I have a picture of what the whites look like but I was thinking of getting the blue or amber. Will someone who has them post some pics? Thanks. I posted the picture of the white ones below.

ya that looks awesome on your car man, btw, i lived in austin for 7 years, went to UT. big longhorns fan. I love the orange!

But if anyone has the white, regular RS headlights and the amber and can post as well that would be awesome. I would like to see how they would look on my car.

Also blue...very important

Just something to keep in mind as well. The law (in Tx anyways) allows for you to drive with the orange/amber lights on while blue you can't. I've had the lights for a year and have never been pulled over b/c I had the halos on. Might want to check FL laws and see what they say.

PS: Hook 'Em Horns! Class of '07!

I just read through the statutes and didn't see anything on the color of foglamps, only on the number and palcement of them.

In any event, I am getting the wireless harness for them so i can turn them off when i want

Hey BriCo84 question for you. I got an RS too, with just standard fogs the car came with the headlights are of course the stock HID's. Can I replace my fogs with HID's to match? Basically I'm asking What'd you have to do/buy to get your fogs that way

I upgraded my DRLs to HID. My local shop had my stock housing upgraded to glass fronts so it would not melt. Kelvin lights did the work in FL. I have Kelvin 8k HID bulbs. See pic below.

First of all, RS package does not come with fog lights, instead they are replaced by the Daytime running lights. What am i doing is replacing those with real fog lights ( you can get them through aac, there are lots of threads on them, just do a search for rs running lights or something, make sure you find the link to the sale page, $70 for c5 members as opposed to 100 regularly). In addition you will need a harness to allow your lights to run in conjunction with the headlights. aac makes a harness but i got a more advanced one from another user on the forums who makes good ones (do a search for "Group buy 4").

Hope that helps

What do you mean you upgraded them to glass fronts so it would not melt? Why would they melt? Who is reporting fog lights melting?

I installed HIDs without the glass front. Basically just inserting a HID bulb in the stock DRL and they melted the chrome backing. They did something along the line of making the front glass and somehow upgraded the chrome backing so it could withstand the temp. I didn't talk with the guy at Kelvin personally so I'm not sure of the whole process. Btw do a search and you'll see prob with housings melting.

I see....well that shouldn't be a problem with AKA fog lamps since they're LEDs. LEDs don't get hot...
