I wanted to start a thread here to see if there was an interest in Jacksonville, NC for a Camaro car Club. Driving around the area I can see uite a few. if you're in the Jacksonville, Swanboro, SneadsFerry, Cherry Point or any sorrounding area show your interest here. We can probably start a good club here.

I know five Camaro owners will be in.

The interest still good for creating a Camaro Club Chapter in Jacksonville, NC, but the weather and Holidays have interrupted a meet and greet here in Jacksonville. I am looking at a meet and greet right after the holidays to start the New Year right. Lets continue to post here and pass the word around to any Camaro Owners in the Area. I am looking to have a meet on 8 January 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lowes parking lot next to Logans Road House. I think there was a meet and lunch at Logans there before. If there is a good turn out we can discuss the creation of a Jacksoville, NC Camaro Club (Jacksonville Chapter of Camaro South). If you are going to show please post a reply so we can see the iterest, thanks and pass the word.

WHAT: Camaro Meet and Greet
WHEN: 08 January 2011 @ 11:00 a.m.
WHERE: Lowes Parking Lot next to Logans Road House
WHY: Created a Jacksonville Camaro Club (Jacksonville Chapter of Camaro South).

There was talk about this before but nothing came of it.

There are quite a few, I am interested. We had one there before but all the deployments basically killed it off. Some of us are still around at www.rwhp.us I am stationed in Quantico but commute on the weekends down to Richlands.

We had discussed doin another Chapter of Camaro South there, which is still very possible. We are starting our 2nd Chapter in Columbia now. We already have everything established and want to expand the club throughout the southeast. PM me if you would be interested..... Just need somebody to take the responsibilities of starting it and maintaining it. We would be excited to help you guys. Check the Columbia threads, mcotton is working with us to get Columbia up and running.

Looks like the interest on creating a Club here in Jacksonville, NC is picking up. Do you have a flyer or Club card that I can start passing out as information to potential Club members?

Hey gang...when the J-Ville group came together for the Stevenson Motorsports Meet, there was plenty of interest, just no one stepping up to lead the charge.
Having been out with the F-Ville folks a few times, I thought we could just become another chapter within their set up. Great group of folks and setting up cruises wouldnt be hard at all for local, or for a grand meet for all Camaro South folks (like last week's Columbia Trip or when they came down here and Wilmington).
I leave in two months, so Im no help to keep it rolling, but National Speed was great for our cruise in and they might be up to sponsor....especially with the Raceway right here that they sponsor...??

That sounds like a plan..... I'm thinking it will do all of us some good to meet as a club in whole to meet everyone, and get the ground work established.

It will really help everyone if you guys are interested in being a chapter, which has been the idea, to join our forum at Camarosouth.com so we can establish a meet soon.

I'm in as well. I have a house in Jacksonville but i'm in school at the moment in Pensacola, FL. So I travel back and forth during the holidays. I'm here(Jacksonville, NC)until the 1st of Jan then I go back to FL until the next break.

I'd definately be in though...
